About us

The Cornell Folk Song Society is a non-profit membership organization that seeks to preserve and promote traditional and taditionaly-oriented folk music both on and off campus. Membership is open to everyone in the Cornell or the greater central New York community. Founded in about 1950 we've variously been a 'club' or a 'society' through years but we've been a large part of the folk music scene in Ithaca through most of that time. You can read more about our history here.

Members get a discount on concert admission, a voice in deciding about activites and other benefits.Find out more about membership here.
