For longer than we can remember the Folk Song Society has come together once a month to make music, share songs and enjoy each other's company. Singing parties (sings for short) are informal gatherings held in the homes of members. Everyone is welcome. You don't need to be a member to attend. We start with a dish-to-pass supper but you're welcome to come later just for the singing. We emphasize songs with easy choruses that everyone can sing along on but the only hard and fast rule is "don't start a song until the last one is over."
A dish to share if you come for dinner.
A song to share if you're feeling brave.
An Instrument (or three) if you play.
Your smiling face, energy and enthusiasm.
